Luke van Gelderen is an artist and filmmaker based between Dublin and Berlin. His practice encompasses film, sculpture, installation, and image-making, employing appropriation and found materials to investigate contemporary online identity. Informed by personal experience, his work constructs immersive environments that interweave themes of trauma, adolescence, authenticity, and performance, exploring how contemporary subjectivity is shaped by increasingly unstable social, technological, and environmental contexts.

Recent exhibitions and screenings include: Arca Futuris, Hamburg (2026); Callie’s, Berlin (2026); Photo Museum Ireland (2026); FACT, Liverpool (2026); PAF Olomouc (2025); Irish Museum of Modern Art (2025); TRIBECA Gallery, NYC (2025); SEAGER, London (2025); Transmediale, Berlin (2024); Kunsthaus Zurich (2024); Kasseler Dokfest (2024); and Pallas Projects/Studios, Dublin (2024). He is a co-founder of  Temporary Address, a nomadic exhibtion platform, with recent presentations at SWAB Art Fair, Barcelona (2026) and Kulturforum Witten, Germany (2024). His practice is kindly supported by the Arts Council of Ireland.
